My picture of the struggle in farmer mental health is:

It’s beyond frustrating when farmers are still left out of conversations making decisions that will impact them.

Some of the glimmer/joyful moments that reflect farmer mental health for me:

I am incredibly proud to be a part of an industry every person relies on every day.

A little more about Fiona:

Fiona and husband Ed and family run a mixed farming enterprise including broad acre farming and breeding commercial poll Hereford cattle. She has been an agricultural industry leader at both a state and federal level, including being elected the first female President of the National Farmers' Federation in its 40-year history. Fiona is a fierce supporter of work in the farmer mental health and wellbeing space and wants to help change the culture of being "tough" and "resilient" that may be barriers to getting help. "I want to help change that culture in our industry and make it okay to speak up when you’re not okay."
